Deep in the future, in the year 2998 mankind has spread its wings and colonized space, with colonies and outposts all over the galaxy and peace reigns supreme, with the entire race in harmony. All of a sudden a deadly force named Black Nebula appears and begins attacking man's intergalactic civilization and you must pilot your incredible Hellfire space ship into the attackers to blast your way through them and save mankind from being destroyed!

Huge Sega Genesis fans out there that loved this great game and would like to take a shot at other titles from this series then you would be amiss not to take a pop at Hellfire S - The Another Story and the badass Hellfire!
